Meet Course Creator, Amber Rondeau

Amber is an enthusiastic teacher from the United States. Amber’s journey started off when she decided to follow in her father's footsteps and go to firefighter school. She joined an academy and became the first paid female firefighter in her community. After that she continued her education and became an Emergency Medical Technician, spending five years working on an ambulance. During that time she decided to continue her education and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Sociology. Amber decided to take a yoga teacher training at an ashram based in the Bahamas. She became a 200 hour certified yoga teacher specializing in Sivananda Yoga. With this certification came knowledge about the Hindu way of life, serving others, and Ayurvedic views of living. This changed her whole world. After returning home from the Ashram, Amber knew she had bigger plans for her life. She sold her business and all possessions and left on a journey with one backpack to travel the world. She spent time in different ashrams, traveled to many countries alone, and finally ended up in Thailand. Where she has been teaching for almost five years now. Amber’s teaching techniques are focused on kindness in the classroom and guiding the students to make the right choices by understanding their outcomes and how they affect others or themselves. She hopes to leave each student with a positive mindset and an open heart to others.
