Lauren Danner
Lauren Danner is fueled by a passion for art, the power of words, the beauty of movement, mental wellness, and treasured family moments. Known for her unwavering persistence and endless creativity, Lauren can usually be found sipping coffee and nurturing her homeschooled children.
Her yoga journey began as a means to enhance her musical theater performances, but it led her on a path to cultivating a joyful and connected life. Lauren's teaching style fosters practices that are both immediately beneficial and sustainable for a lifetime.
Her yoga classes are thoughtfully designed to move energy through breath, intention, meditation, and yoga poses. Lauren holds a BA in Theater and is an E-RYT 500.

Breathwork to Awaken Your Super Energy
Diaphragmatic Breath
Super Belly Breathing
Diaphragmatic breathing (commonly referred to as belly breathing) sends breath low and deep, not just into your chest. Your diaphragm plays a major role in proper breathing.
Here's how it works: Breathing in, your diaphragm muscle contracts and moves down creating more space in your chest for your lungs to expand into. A strong diaphragm helps increase lung capacity so you can take bigger, deeper, fuller breaths!
The diaphragm is controlled by a special nerve called the phrenic nerve - it tells your diaphragm to expand and contract.
Diaphragm also has a connection to the vagus nerve. Taking slow, deep breaths gives the vagus nerve a message to slow your heart rate, lower your blood pressure, and helps you relax.
