Born in Arizona and raised in Michigan, many of my travels have been from warmer to cooler climate. I have adapted and learned to enjoy the seasonal changes which are in four cycles here in Michigan. Walking and hiking the trails near the lakes and forest have inspired me to stay healthy and active. I have been an athlete in sports and exercise since childhood. I have participated in soccer, basketball, softball, golf, downhill skiing, snowboarding, running, biking, rock climbing, power lifting, olympic lifting, calisthenics, gymnastics, and dance.
My interests range from fitness to marine biology, and I am an activist for environmental care. I participate in local beach clean ups, programs for planting trees, working at recycling centers, and educating the public. I have been a coach, instructor, referee and trainer for twelve years. I love nature, animals, health, fitness, art, and being a part of communities respecting and taking care of the environment.
