Course Overview

As students learn how to move with awareness mindfully, each student can feel their own growth and progress through the exercises. There will be plenty of support and guidance for students to figure out their own process and movement patterns. Each step or stage within the learning process will accept feedback from the student/listening to how they are learning, to check in if the student feels confident or competent in the learning and exercises. Also educating students on nutrition and sustenance for energy, movement, and work; will provide a healthy perspective for fueling or nourishing the body. Recovery will also be mentioned, but it will be a topic for later courses. As students learn, check ins and reflections are great indicators for what is retained. An overview of the modalities/types of exercise/movement, as well as meditation and breathwork for increasing awareness and consciousness. Along with intentional and intuitive movement practices to improve awareness and mindfulness. The main takeaway from this course is the long term benefits or lifestyles of what the students are learning, doing, and practicing for life long maintenance and growth. I want students to be able to remember what they learned and to be able to take it with them to develop strong and precise movement patterns throughout their lives.
