Module

1

Introduction to Mindfulness

The objective of the intro section is to provide the student with an overview of mindfulness. They will also come to understand the meaning of the term and how mindfulness 'works'. Additionally, the student will get a sense of how a mindfulness practice can be beneficial in many areas of their lives.

Module

2

Mindfulness and Feelings

In this section the learner becomes more aware of feelings, by seeing how feelings and emotions impact the characters. They will be challenged to start noticing both their own and those of others. They begin to see that feelings don't just happen, there is a cause and effect. They also begin to become empowered as they learn that they don't have to be at the mercy of moods and feelings.

Module

Mindfulness and thoughts

In section 3 the student begins to unravel that much like feelings, thoughts are subjective. The student is encouraged to start taking note of their thoughts. They learn that thoughts are not necessarily facts. They also gain tools to start questioning and challenging their thoughts in order to decide if believing them is in their own best interest.

Mindful Relationships

By this final section the student should now be able to take the lessons from the earlier sections to understand that people, thoughts, and feelings are all connected. There is a relationship between things, a cause and effect. The learner can now take this knowledge and start making empowered choices and decisions to have happier more harmonious interpersonal relationships.
